Can I compost jam, fruit syrups, mushrooms, frozen vegetables and slightly rotten fruit?

Slightly rotten, moldy fruit or vegetables do not belong in the compost bin.

Do not put rotten and moldy food in the Bokashi Organko composter.

Slightly rotten, moldy fruit or vegetables do not belong in the compost bin. Frozen vegetables begin to thaw, but the liquid should not be placed in the compost bin. Doing so risks the process turning into rotting rather than fermentation. Jams and fruit syrup contain sugars, which are food for microorganisms, but it is not recommended to add fruit syrup. It is different with jam, which does not contain so much liquid unless it is moldy (moldy food doesn't go into the composter). Mushrooms can be composted if they are not rotten.
