Will continuous rain delay the decomposition of buried (fermented) food wastes?

Rains shouldn't significantly impact the decomposition process if the fermented organic matter was added buried in soil, following the basic guiding rules.

Once the waste has been buried, rain should not significantly affect the decomposition process. However, you should be careful when using the undiluted fermented liquid to kill the weed because, after heavy rain, the liquid leftovers will dilute, causing the opposite effect – the excessive growth of the weed.
